Respect the catchy new name...
Because these forums opperate differantly than most other forums, and do not utilize html code. I will take the time to explain the message posting options as best as I can.
First you have your font styles they look like this, of course:
the first: bold the second: Italics and the third: underlined
this is all common knowledge up to this point. Everyone can figure this stuff out.
Next are some more complex text options. The ability to cross out unwantedtext . The ability to highlight, or add "glow" to text. . The ability to add a shadow to text .Here's a neat one, the ability to create moving text
the moving text would appear as follows:
This next one has me a bit confused. It appears to be an alignment icon, but it only seems to create a tiny (type) font . Then of course, there are the left, right and center alignment icons. Left . Right . And Center .
The next icon adds a line or divider between text . You can see, I've used one just below this text.
Font size comes next. Once you click this option, you would type between the two brackets as you would with any of the other options, but now there will be a number involved in the brackets, so here's how it works. Higher numbers are larger fonts, smaller numbers are smaller fonts. Just type a number in the bracket.
Next is the option for font type . Using this option, you can use nearly any font you know the name of. Just replace the word Veranda with a different font type. You can even use windings and webdings to add small images to your threads.
Next is the option for "blockquote" . This simply seperates lines of text. Next is the image for a hyperlink and a different linking option .
you can also create a link that looks a bit more professionsal by doing the following.
(url=url of website)what you want link to say(/url)
( and ) represent [ and ]
the link should appear as follows:
Linked
Then there's the image box . For the image options, just slect the box and paste the url or location of the image between the brackets. Next is email which is pretty self explanitory. The ability to make your own table (chart) comes next. It doesnt require much explanation. The next two options and are two settings that I really don't understand. So, I'm sorry if you absolutely need to use every last option, because I can't help you out with these two, lol.
These next two options simply create sub and super text. The sub would be moved to the a lower position, while the sup would be higher. I would sumize this next icon just makes text appear as if it was typed on a typewritter because that's all the button seems to do.
Next is the (#) icon which looks like so: . This option makes a nice code box, not sure what it's importance is. But it looks fancy. The following is how this code box appears
Next is an option to quote yourself or others. . Using this creates the appearance of quoted text as shown below.
And finally, (whoo, I'm tired). The option to create a list .
When selecting the list option, you must type your words in the space to the right of the [/li][li](here)
