I've owned this CD for about 1 1/2 years, now, and it does not dissapoint. A vibrating, distorted guitar can be heard being palyed by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez along with Cedric Bixler-Zalvalva's unique voice singing. The sounds of the instrumentals and vocals are seamed together in such an original fashion, the listener can't help but feel intrigued by the beauty of these songs. One could be brought to a feeling of enlightenment through this CD. When listening you feel as if this was a part not yet tangible. The Mars Volta has found this haven. Now, they generously let us dwell in it with them. A new perception could be given on what we call beauty or perfection. A new standard has been set for future bands.

never heard any of their music, but I have heard the name of the band before, and you did a great job in describing the music so vividly.
